Please share with young people you work with/with your networks & contact youngpeople@rmg.co.uk with any questions!

We're looking for 15x young people aged 16-18 who live, work or study in Greenwich. Paid at London Living Wage, they'll work alongside an artist facilitator to co-produce and deliver a youth-led offer, as part of Diwali celebrations at the museum, during the public festival takeover anticipating 12,000 visitors.

Are you interested in arts and heritage? Would you like to be part of a youth-led Diwali celebration with amplifies and engages young voices?

Together you’ll develop a trail, tour, performance, workshop, or something else!

The National Maritime Museum is marking this year’s Festival of Light with a family festival, for all ages, titled Illuminate, on 25 October 2025 to celebrate Diwali. For the third year running, the festival programme will be curated by Mehala Ford, founder of South Asian arts collective COMMONGROUND&, in collaboration with Royal Museums Greenwich.
