Are you interested in using your skills and passion to help one of the UK’s leading outdoor arts companies continue its creative journey? Emergency Exit Arts are looking for an experienced leader to be our Chair of Trustees (or Co-Chairs) to help us deliver our vision and ambitious plans for the future.

Emergency Exit Arts is at the beginning of an exciting new era. We have a new Creative Director & CEO, we have a renewed ambition and a commitment to staying relevant and imaginative in the years ahead, open to new ideas, new ways of working and new possibilities. This is a pivotal moment to shape what comes next. 

The new Chair will lead our Board and governance strategy, line manage our Creative Director/CEO and be a passionate advocate for our work.

Applications are now open for the next intake of the New Views programme - Please share with your young people!

New Views is a playwriting programme for young people aged 14-19, taking place in schools across the UK, online and with sector partners. Participants are paired with a professional playwright who supports them to write their own original plays.

The programme includes teacher CPD, theatre tickets for participants, and the opportunity to be programmed in the New Views Festival at the National Theatre.
